By now (unless you are my neighbors who seem to celebrate Christmas loudly until New Year’s), Christmas is but a memory.
So, here’s your post-season test... Were your holidays more green or red?
If you were super-green, you used recycled products to create wrap that is paper free.
If you were green, you made your own wrapping paper.
If you were red, you bought glossy, shiny, tinfoil paper from the store.
If you were super-green, you decorated a tree in your yard with yummy treats for wildlife.
If you were green, you bought a locally grown tree.
OR If you were green (again), you reused your fake tree.
To be red here, you have to buy and toss a fake tree every year.
If you were super-green, you made gifts for your friends and family.
If you were green, you bought locally crafted items.
If you were red, you bought useless items that will already be discarded by the time you read this.
If you were super-green, you cooked dinner using only locally grown produce.
If you were green, you tried to use locally grown food.
If you were red, you bought all of your food from other continents.
Laugh all you want, but this issue of green-ness may move you next year from the Nice to Naughty list, especially since Santa lives in the North Pole, which is in danger of melting.
