Storms destroy historic oak at Alden Lane Nursery

Aldenlane Severe storms in Livermore, Calif., toppled a centuries-old oak tree at Alden Lane Nursery, the San Jose Mercury News reported. Workers discovered the tree was snapped in half last Friday morning. The ancient oak was located at the store’s main entrance and served as an icon for the nursery.
