EPA is seeking water efficiency leaders

EPA is accepting nominations for the 2008 Water Efficiency Leader Awards to recognize organizations and individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and innovation in water efficiency. Nominations are being accepted until Aug. 29. Winners will be chosen by a panel of nat'l. water experts and based on 3 criteria: leadership, innovation and water saved. The awards promote a nationwide ethic of water efficiency, which EPA officials said is critical to helping the country's growing economy and improving quality of life.
