AmericasMart previews new floors for garden

At the just-completed summer market, AmericasMart showed a preview of the new building that will house garden suppliers, who later this year move from floors 14 and 15 of Building 1 to Building 2 West Wing. The new name for the garden segment is Living. Outdoor/Indoor. Floor 9 will be designed with a Tuscan feel supported by wrought iron railings, carved wood, murals, stone molding, fountains and Italian cypress. Floor 10 will replicate a Southern garden district with wrought iron balconies, old brick, crown and baseboard molding and white wainscoting on the walls. The 2 floors total 170,000 sq. ft. and will employ a 2-story fiber-optic waterfall. More than 80% of the 100-plus new showrooms have been leased.
